Our Story
Parmedtrans was founded by paramedical professionals who saw a gap in Ontario's patient transfer landscape. Too often, patients were being moved by general transport companies without the clinical training, equipment, or protocols that safe patient care demands.
We built Parmedtrans to change that. From our first transfer, we committed to staffing every vehicle with certified paramedical personnel, equipping every unit with clinical-grade equipment, and building our operations around the workflows of the hospitals and facilities we serve.
Today, we are trusted by hospitals, rehabilitation centres, and long-term care facilities across Ontario — handling thousands of transfers each year with the same care and precision we brought to our very first call.

All staff are trained in WHMIS, infection prevention and control (IPAC), and PPE protocols — meeting hospital-grade standards.

Our vehicles and equipment are inspected and maintained to clinical standards, including bariatric-rated stretchers and securement systems.
Documentation Protocols
We follow strict transfer documentation and patient handoff protocols that meet the compliance requirements of Ontario healthcare facilities.

All staff are trained in PHIPA (Personal Health Information Protection Act) requirements. Patient information is handled with full confidentiality.
